Kodak "The Handle" Instant Camera
Here is a copy of an astonishing competitor to the Polaroid: the EK2 called "The handle" from Kodak, produced at the end of the 70s.
Here is what Wikipedia says about him:
The Kodak EK2 is an instant camera produced in 1977. It is also known as The Handle in some markets. It is a curious camera. The viewfinder sits above the carrying handle built into the flat body of the camera. It features a lightening and darkening dial around the protruding lens as well as a battery test function. It used Kodak PR10/PR 144 instant film and featured a crank to push the film through the rollers for development. A similar promotional version was also available as the Kodak Happy Times (Coca-Cola) Camera.
This copy is in excellent condition but can only be used as decoration (we love its carrying handle and vintage colors) because compatible films can no longer be found.
